Yesterday night Bremen was wet, dark and cold. The venue was a ferry made of 10.000 tons of steel tied to the bank of the river which is running through mid Bremen. We arrived rockandrollably late by about a half an hour, and they were ready for us.
After a brief ask-around amongst the band it was decided to play the gig on acoustic instruments, which meant that I had to dig out the old married couple… my banjo and my dobro. It´s a great marriage, but a quite ordinary one compared to the exciting and never-dull threesome of Freddys violin, Lines cello and Torleiks doublebass. Now, THAT´s a relationship… a beautifully bowed relationship. They´re all great friends and often engage in a couples night out, and the tuesday night out in Bremen was a fab one. Oh yeah…. there´s flirting, but they always go home seperately.

David and Casper engaged in a decent and sober drinking contest backstage. It WAS fun, but in another way...
Soundcheck was short, so we had time to run through a new song a couple times Our brought-with photographer Christian, filmed the event and the house soundguy recorded it, so mabye something good will come out…. we´ll see.
