Some weeks ago the SPOT festival in Århus, Denmark, announced that this years version of the festival will see a very special and “unique” live performance from the Copenhagen Collaboration under the name "Copenhagen Collaboration reworked by T. Finland and Mikkel Meyer". Here's a sort of explanation of what that means. (photo: Kristian Klintholm)

After a brief ask-around amongst the band it was decided to play the gig on acoustic instruments, which meant that I had to dig out the old married couple... my banjo and my dobro. It´s a great marriage, but a quite ordinary one compared to the exciting and never-dull threesome of Freddys violin, Lines cello and Torleiks double bass.

Only on rare occations does it happen that my ass sits on me. I won´t come into detail in this forum, though. But tonight I was the boss, and I took out my stool and sat on my amp. To celebrate the release of their debut EP ("Soldiers") the good people of My Name is Legion decided to throw a party like only they could do. Held at the very cool Copenhagen venue LOPPEN, My Name is Legion were giving the people a sweaty glow-in-the-dark bash with free entry, salt-cracker-sticks, secret-location-afterparty and four bands from Copenhagen Collective playing live on stage (and Sleep Party People's Brian Batz doing his first ever DJ set).

On august 12th we (CODY) played at Stockholm Culture Festival to promote Danish music in Sweden. An initiative made by The Danish Ministry of Culture and Roskilde Festival. The idea was to ship 27 of the best underground acts off in an optimistic attempt to impress our Swedish counterparts.
