After Frederik’s recent post about his favourite hiphop artists I got inspired to write just a little bit about a band that I (and many others in the Collective) love. They’re called Why? and they’re probably not real hiphop - more like an indie band that incorporates rap and grooves in their music of otherwise classic indie elements like glockenspiels, omnichords, off-key singing and odd sweaters.

When I am introduced to new music or bands, it is always because a friend or relative of mine present it to me. I am not too outgoing when it comes to researching for new interesting artists. So, when the sources of inspiration has dried out I tend to go back in time and re-listen to the music I did like in the eighties, nineties, or zeroes.
